About Us – russell + lambert

Russell + Lambert is a Seattle landscape architecture firm founded by landscape architects Mary Ellen Russell and Ryan Lambert. The firm specializes in streetscape design, green stormwater infrastructure, trail design, and community improvement projects.

We have demonstrated our committment to sustainability through the use of native and northwest adapted plants that require the minimum in chemical inputs, irrigation, and maintenance. We are also proud to have worked on numerous projects that integrate low impact design and green stormwater infrastructure principles in order to minimize environmental impacts. We are especially proud of our contribution to several combined sewer overflow (CSO) reduction projects that reduce pollution in our lakes, rivers, and Puget Sound.

The team at Russell + Lambert has extensive experience leading and supporting the public process through the facilitation of public open houses and workshops, and the production of project visualization graphics.

Ryan is a family man who loves to spend time with his smart and beautiful wife and two-year-old son, who likes to put his parents and stuffed animals in time-out when they forget the house rules.
